This job was a job where the house originally had a large open basement area but the existing concrete was thin andnot level. We ripped out the original concrete floor, installed a (n) radiant heating system and placed all the (formerly dangling) (e) plumbing and electrical up into the ceiling. Insulated throughout and also utilized a new type of enhanced sound transmission impedence sheet rock. That is - a type of sheet rock that is more effective at reducing the transmission of noise. The owners used this product in many of the joint walls and ceilings. It effectively turned the downstairs area into a cacoon.

We also installed radiant heating in the new slab we placed downstairs.

The scope of this project effectively turned a 2 bdrm 1 bath - maybe 1300 sq foot home into a 4 bedroom 2 bath 2000 sq ft plus home. Greatly enhancing the value of the property.
